The over-examined self, dark, grief-worn, institutionalised, under scrutiny, imagined and re-imagined. These poems spin in that particular dizziness of the human condition, using simple, overt language. They sit with existentialism as lived experience, sometimes fantastical, often brutal, but like life is.
