Drumshanbo Written Word Festival 2024

This year we are back with a shorter programme and a focus on fundraising to enable Drumshanbo Written Word to grow and continue into the future.

We are delighted to have the opportunity to introduce some new events including a Poetry Film Workshop and our Writer’s Salon on Saturday afternoon featuring the “John Mc Gahern’s Kettle Conversation”. This is an opportunity to create a living history of a great writer and we look forward to your support on the day. The poetry workshop this year is with local man John F Deane and we look forward to a great night with the continued success of the Poetry Film Awards Evening.
