Launch of Confluent Chapters

We’re delighted to invite to join us:
Friday – 28th of November at 7pm in The Glens Arts Centre
for the launch of ‘Confluent Chapters’.

‘Confluent Chapters’ is a collection of writings by women from North Leitrim and women from rural communities across the North West of Ireland showcasing women’s lives and giving voice to what concerns, empowers and motivates them. It is the result of an 8 week programme facilitated by local Manorhamilton playwright and writer, Treasa Nealon. The project set out with the goal to create a safe and supportive space for women to explore different writing styles and different genres around the themes of rural women, community, connection, change and growth.

Everyone welcome to join us and hear a selection of readings from the collection.
