As part of Heritage Week Ballinamore Library is hosting a talk entitled ‘Legendary Leitrim: an exploration of ritual sites, megalithic monuments and fairy haunts’, by Alanna Moore whose book of the same name launched last year. Her research explores less trodden trackways through rural backwaters where ancient history shimmers close to the surface. She will introduce listeners to almost forgotten locations and learn to understand the invisible dimensions of the landscape.

There will be an opportunity to chat to the author over refreshments and buy a copy of her book.

It takes place on Saturday 15th of August from 11am-12.30pm. All welcome.
